Pull down, then settle
Most weapons kick up and then drift sideways. Pull down steadily as you fire and you will keep more bullets on target. Learn the pattern of your main weapon in training so the correction becomes automatic.
Pick the right fire mode for the range
Spray only when the target is close enough to keep bullets on them; at range, tap or burst so recoil never builds up. Trying to full-spray a distant enemy wastes a magazine and gives away your position.
Quick tips
- Gyroscope aiming lets you correct recoil with device movement; it is worth learning.
- Practice the first ten bullets of your main gun until the pull is muscle memory.
- Crouch or go prone for long-range sprays to cut recoil further.
- If a fight goes long, reposition rather than reloading in the open.
