Aim where the head will be
Keep your crosshair at head height and pre-aim around corners so you start a fight already on target. Most lost duels are lost before the first shot because the crosshair was on the ground or the wall.
Control the spray
Pull down gently as you fire to fight vertical recoil, and burst at range instead of holding the trigger. Learn one close-range weapon and one mid-range weapon well rather than swapping guns every match.
Quick tips
- Strafe while shooting so you are harder to hit, but stop to land your own shots.
- Reload behind cover, never in the open after a kill.
- Practice drag headshots in training until the motion is muscle memory.
- Pair a fast close-range gun with a stable mid-range one for every situation.
